Cast bronze stylus dating to the Roman period.
Description
English: Cast bronze stylus dating to the Roman period. It is sub-rectangular in plan and square in cross section. One end has been curved and tapers to a sharp point. The opposite end also tapers slightly inwards forming a blunt flattened tip. The surface has a golden brown patina and is pitted revealing a lighter green patina in places.
