Description
English: Memorial to John Dean and Annabells Case, parents of John Case of Poulton Hey in the north wall of St Andrew's. Designed by Warrington and made by William Wailes of Newcastle in 1859. Depicts the parable of the Good Samaritan in the top four panels and Jesus Raising Lazarus in the bottom four. Like a modern comic strip, this is a good example of how stained glass windows were used as a graphic means of teaching the Bible.
