Description
Español: La construcción de la Casa se realizó por órdenes de Don Felipe de Terán, abuelo de Jesús. Se terminó en 1795 y estuvo a cargo de Gregorio Reyes (alarife) y Rodrigo Rodríguez (cantero); es de estilo barroco y neoclásico y representa una de las construcciones más importantes de la Ciudad.

Sus muros y plafones son de influencia italiana, mientras que las columnas se levantan en estípite y los arcos, en herradura. Los corredores están enlosados con ladrillos de barro.

Fue declarada monumento histórico en 1986 y el 25 de abril de 1992 se inauguró como centro de animación cultural.
