Title
Carved stone head dating to the Medieval period.
Description
English: Carved stone head dating to the Medieval period. The object is oval in plan and the carving is quite realistic in style. It depicts a male face with staring eyes, a wide nose and a straight linear mouth. The cheeks are rounded and taper into a rounded chin. The carving has chin-length hair which is an unusual style and appears to be wavy. The carving is attached to a rectangular block of stone.
