Description
English: Birds in the Delta marshes. This relief was part of the decoration on the limestone walls in the funerary temple adjoining the pyramid of Userkaf in Saqqara. It was brought to light by Cecil Mallaby Firth, in 1928.
  • Egypt, Cairo, Egyptian Museum, upper floor, gallery 54, JE 56001 (H = 102 cm, W = 77 cm) Limestone, from Saqqara; 5th Dynasty; reign of Userkaf.
