Description
Español: Obra maestra del gótico español. La reina Isabel I de Castilla acomete un proyecto excepcional, conseguir el retablo mas asombroso para la capilla sepulcral de sus padres. Gil de Siloé y su taller sera el elegido (1496), junto a la maestría del pintor Diego de la Cruz y con un presupuesto exorbitante. El maestro, consigue un retablo singular, magníficamente ejecutado y desarrollando el misterio eucarístico. Una pregunta pendiente a la reina, sería el porqué no existe una representación de la comunidad cartuja, encontrando otras como los dominicos.
