Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Alternate view of the Carter House Inn, 301 L Street, Eureka, California, from across the intersection. The building is a replica of a structure destroyed in the San Francisco 1906 earthquake, which was built in 1884 by builder architects Samuel and Joseph Cather Newsom who also built the Carson Mansion. Mark Carter found the blueprints for the home in an antique store and rebuilt the structure but in Eureka.
