English: Carrigtwohill 1st railway station (site), County Cork Opened in 1859 by the Cork & Youghal Railway, later part of the Great Southern & Western Railway, this station closed in 1976. View east towards Midleton and Youghal. The railway was reopened in 2009 as far as Midleton, the platform at the old station removed and a completely new Carrigtwohill station provided, immediately behind the camera position - see W8173 : Carrigtwohill railway station, County Cork. |
