Summary

[edit]
Description
English: German-American brewer August Anheuser Busch Sr. acquired a large fraction of the old Ulysses S. Grant tract in Affton, Missouri (now Grantwood Village, Missouri) in 1903 and in 1914 built The Bauernhof in its midst. Designed by the firm Klipstein & Rathman, this photo shows part of the Busch family's carriage collection housed in the great hall on the east side of the courtyard.
