Description
Français : La couche supérieure, soit l'ULST - Upper Laacher See Tephra - est la zone la plus riche en phénocristaux et en minéraux mafiques.

La couche moyenne - MLST, Middle Laacher See Tephra - présente des échantillons plus hétérogènes et de couleur variable.

Dans le bas, les ponces blanches éjectées en premieres - LLST , Lower Laacher See Tephra - forment des strates horizontales, chaque strate correspondant à une explosion. Elles sont fortement vacuolaires et contiennent peu de phénocristaux.
