Walls—These for a frame house consistof studding four inches wide, the sheathingand weather boards, clapboards, or siding,as it is called in different sections, and thelath and plaster. (No allowance is made forthe paper). Altogether they measure aboutsix inches and are so considered. Thereforein making your drawing the outer and innerlines will be six inches apart or one-eighthinch if the scale is one fourth inch equalstwelve inches.
