Carn nan Gobhar north top
Summary

English: Carn nan Gobhar north top Although slightly higher, the north top seems to have had a much smaller cairn than recent photos show for the south top. The north top is the one that lies directly on the shortest route to traverse the northern watershed of the Loch Mullardoch round, and as I was carrying camping gear for a three day walk, I wasn't visiting all the minor outlying tops. This was the first Munro of the first day of the walk and this view looks back at the approach over Creag Dubh and beyond to the Strathfarrer hills. As this looks to the south side of that range, very little snow is in evidence. |
