Summary
[edit]DescriptionCarlotta 2012-06-15 GOES-13.png |
English: Hurricane Carlotta (shown here in an image from the NOAA GOES-13 satellite on June 15, 2012) is approaching the Mexican Pacific coastline with sustained winds of 80 mph. The National Hurricane Center predicts landfall to occur around 5 am PDT about 150 miles east of Alcapulco. The storm is expected to linger over the Mexican coast until at least Wednesday before dissipating. Because of the stationary nature of Carlotta, extremely heavy rains are expected for the states of Guerrero and Oaxaca. |
