Empezó estudiando música a los 9 años de edad en la Banda Municipal de La Vall de Laguar (Alicante) recibiendo clases de Salvador Verdú y Paco Vicedo, más tarde comenzó a especializarse en la batería y la percusión con maestros como Jesús Salvador Chapi entre otros, poco tiempo después estudia con profesores como Paco Mestre, Josep Vicent, Anders Loguin, Jan Putjens, Ali N’Diaye Rose, Andrés Marín, Lucas van Merwijk, Gustavo Gimeno, Manel Ramada y Lorenzo Ferrándiz. A los 16 años de edad toca la batería con su primer grupo que se conoció con el nombre de Scoty Barboti(pop-rock), después este grupo se disuelve y empieza a fundar nuevos grupos con la esperanza de cubrir sus necesidades musicales, grupos como SubsTream(funk/rock), Budell(funk/jazz/rock/fusión), Nufiala África(afro), Momentos (performance con Oscar Jareño) Kings of fire (rock/metal/stoner), Born through my eyes(metalcore/progresive/fusion) Mind Driller(Metal Industrial) actúa como batería de sesión con Alabama Campbell (legendario pianista internacional de blues) entre otros. Ha hecho cursos de verano con grandes maestros internacionales muy destacados como Dave Weckl, Julio C. Barreto o Leigh H. Stevens también asiste a Master Clases de percusionistas y baterías como John Bergamo, Francisco Díaz, Juanjo Guillem, Juanjo Rubio, Steven Shick, Rafa Santos, Raúl Benavent, Benoit Cambrelaing, Philippe Spiecer, Emmanuel Sejourné, Pedro Guajardo, Esaú Borredá, Patti Ballinas, Tino di Geraldo, Xavi Reija, Pep Cantó, Felip Santandreu, Miguel Morales, Ángel Crespo, Miguelito llamas, Carlos Gamón, Angi Bao y Quim Solé, Siguiendo su camino como músico y director artístico recibe clases de percusión en el conservatorio profesional de música “Tenor Cortis” con Paco Mestre y Javier Gimeno, alternando con clases particulares con Felip Santandreu, al poco tiempo le sale una oferta de empleo y está dos años en el mundo laboral de la enseñanza impartiendo clases de batería en talleres de música moderna. Actualmente a fecha de 11/6/16 a sus 35 años es Endorser de la marca Tocsticks y colaborador de Bosphorus Cymbals, HappyfrogDrums, Mass Bateria, Diril Cymbals y Rasch Drums. Destaca como batería de sesión a nivel nacional y con experiencia a nivel internacional, lo demuestra la extensa variedad de estilos y artistas con los que ha tocado, discos y videoclips en los que ha trabajado y colaborado con el suficiente éxito para avalarse y consolidarse como tal. Está activo como compositor, arreglista y músico freelance. Paralelamente prepara un proyecto personal donde pretende debutar como director artístico junto a Lewis Texidor entre otros…. |
