English: Carlincraig I was very shocked to hear of problems a few years ago with uncontrolled dogs worrying the sheep here. Until a dog was actually seen seizing a lamb, the farmer had attributed the losses to foxes. Fortunately things have since improved. The dark patch part way up the grassy slope is marked on the 1:25,000 map as a disused quarry. |
