Description
Deutsch: Carl Gottlieb Bommel (*1802 in Dabrilugk, gest. 1885 in Bad Liebenwerda), das erste Familienmitglied der Familie Bommel als Kürschnermeister in Bad Liebenwerda.
Vater war der herrschaftliche Kutscher Johann Erdmann Bommel. Nach seiner Kürschnerlehre wanderte er als Geselle durch Sachsen, Böhmen, Niederösterreich, Kärnten und blieb über sechs Jahre in Wien um 1832 heimgekehrt seine Meisterprüfung abzulegen.
Am 1. Oktober 1832 eröffnete Carl Gottlieb Bommel nach seiner Wanderschaft in Bad Liebenweda ein kleines Kürschnergeschäft.
Im August 1933 heiratete er die Tochter des Bäckermeisters Carl Gottlieb Ehrlich, Friederike Ehrlich, aus Liebenwerda. Von seinem Schwiegervater hatte er das Haus Bahnhofstraße 7, damals Luckauer Gasse, gekauft. Dort befand sich vermutlich auch die Kürschnerei. Da der Sohn plötzlich verstorben war, übernahm den Betrieb später der Neffe Kürschnermeister Carl Gottfied Bommel.
