Description

The 15-foot tall, 9-foot wide fiberglass statue of a cardinal, Ohio's state bird, was installed in 1986 as part of the 300-square foot Cardinal Plaza, a $137,000 landscaped area near the Lausche Building, near the 20th Avenue gate on the Ohio State Fairgrounds. The cardinal statue was donated by Cardinal Industries Inc.
