English: Alleged trauma. Went for CT abdomen to rule out intra-abdominal injury. Noted sign of contrast pooling within the inferior vena cava and segment 6 of the right liver lobe, causing streak artifacts. This is suggestive of cardiac arrest during CT scan. Patient was immediately underwent cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The patient passed away a few days later. |
