Español: Carcaj compuesto por un armazón cilíndrico de bambú envuelto en una cápsula formada por la vaina de la inflorescencia de una palmera, que se mantiene fija mediante varias ataduras realizadas con un cordel. Este cordel se enrolla circularmente a lo largo del cuerpo a distintos intervalos y termina en el extremo inferior del carcaj anudando fuertemente la vaina de la palmera. Anudado al cuerpo del carcaj conserva una calabaza rellena de algodón con dos perforaciones en la boca para el paso de la cuerda. El exterior del carcaj está decorado con un pigmento rojizo oscuro formando distintos motivos geométricos. Este tipo de carcaj permite guardar los dardos que son disparados con la cerbatana durante la caza. Como en este caso, suelen tener un cordel para llevarlo colgado del hombro y facilitar su transporte. En el interior conserva cuatro tipos de dardos de distinta longitud, aunque ninguno supera los 48 centímetros. Algunas puntas de los dardos presentan un color negruzco porque conservan restos de curare, el veneno paralizante más utilizado en la región amazónica. Los dardos suelen tener en uno de sus extremos una bolilla de algodón bien atada, con el fin de ofrecer suficiente resistencia cuando el cazador sopla por la embocadura de la cerbatana para realizar el disparo. Este tipo de carcaj lo sigue elaborando la etnia Ye´kuana, también denominada Maquiritare en el Alto Orinoco (Venezuela). Siglo XX. Carcaj: Longitud: 54 cm; anchura: 10,50 cm.
