Description

Taxonomy Family: Asclepiadaceae 

Order: Gentianales
Series: Bicarpellatae
Sub class; Gamopetalae
Class: Dicotyledonae

Distribution: Found in rocky areas of tropical southern India. It is small cactoid herb. Latex milky, Flowers in terminal racemes. A pair of follicles formed from each flower.

The shoots are sour to taste.
