English: Captain Daikokuya Kodayu (大黒屋光太夫) and crewmate Isokichi (磯吉) 1792. This was when they were returned to Japan by Adam Laxman, 1792. "Fukiage Secretary Drifting Visitor's Note". It is a record of the questions and answers that Daikokuya Kodayu and his surviving companion Isokichi were asked about Russia by senior vassals of the shogunate in the presence of Shogun Tokugawa Ienari.
