Sergeant Hartley is a crew chief and Florida Air National Guard member assigned th the 125th Fighter Wing, Det 1.Sergeant Hartley suggested the idea for the rememberance flight after learning of the original flight while researching the history of the F-15s assigned to the 125th FW. Captain Pearson's father, retired Maj. Gen. Doug Pearson, flew the exact same F-15 Eagle, now assigned to the 125th FW, exactly 22 years prior while accomplishing the only successful satellite kill by an aircraft launched missile in history. |
