Soak the hard seeds before planting in unfertilized ground. Godetia (Satin Flower) A. 1022. Tall Double Varieties, Mixed. Beautiful annuals with showy flowers of satiny texture. Grown to cut and use with other cut-flowers. 1024. Elegansalba grandiflora, Covent Garden Market Reselected. An improved giant pure white, unsurpassed as to size and form of bloom. An ornamental grass to 4 feet with broad corn-like leaves and curious lead-colored seeds often used as beads. This is a perennial but, not being hardy in the North, is usually grown as an annual.
