Description
Español: MOVIMIENTO DEL PUERTO DE BARCELONA. BERGANTÍN GOLETA "AMALIA"

Construida en 1867, en los astilleros Reay & Naisby, Sunderland. Inglaterra.

Llamado primero Lino Ruiz e Hijos desde 1867/68 hasta 1879/80, Bilbao. Fue rebautizado como Amalia propiedad de L. Uria, Bilbao. Juan Antonio Gorocica fue propietario entre 1890/91 y 1899/1900 y de Tomás de Gorocica de 1891 en adelante.

El 29.01.1900 frente a Cabo Palos (cerca de Cartagena, costa Este de España), el barco de vapor Les Andes chocó con el Amalia, resultando gravemente dañado. Quedó abandonada, a la deriva en dirección ENE y luego se informó que se había hundido.
