Summary
[edit]DescriptionCapillary 1.jpg |
English: A diagram which indicates how water leaks out of capillaries into the interstitial fluid due to the pressure difference between the inside of the capillary and the pressure in the tissues. The capillary membrane is completely permeable to water. The capillary is drawn as if the pressure inside it causes it to balloon out, but such ballooning out does not in actual fact happen, and is only intended to emphasize that that the pressure inside the capillary is higher than outside. |
