Description
English: The Chapel of the Sagrada Familia is a side chapel of the Church of Santa María de Gracia in Cartagena (Spain), built in the 18th century and rebuilt by the architect Lorenzo Ros Costa in 1959, after having been destroyed during the Spanish Civil War. The sculptural group of the chapel is the work of José Gutiérrez Carbonell, while the mural paintings, whose deterioration due to humidity was denounced in 2022 by the Asociación Cartaginense, were created by the painters Ramón Alonso Luzzy and Enrique Gabriel Navarro.
Español: La capilla de la Sagrada Familia es una capilla lateral de la iglesia de Santa María de Gracia de Cartagena (España), construida en el siglo XVIII y reconstruida por el arquitecto Lorenzo Ros Costa en 1959, después de haber sido destruida durante la guerra civil española. El grupo escultórico de la capilla es obra de José Gutiérrez Carbonell, mientras que las pinturas murales, cuyo deterioro por humedad fue denunciado en 2022 por la Asociación Cartaginense, fueron creadas por los pintores Ramón Alonso Luzzy y Enrique Gabriel Navarro.
