Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Capel Ebenezer, Rhosmeirch This Congregationalist (Independent) chapel, sited outside the village of Rhosmeirch (=heath of the horses), dates back to 1869. This was the third chapel built on this site. The first, constructed in 1749, was the first Congregational meeting house in Anglesey. During the initial period the building was also used by the Calvinists and the Baptists. That chapel was rebuilt in 1800. The much persecuted William Prichard of Plas Penmynydd SH4975 and Clwchdernog SH3386 is buried in the cemetery. http://yba.llgc.org.uk/en/s-PRIC-WIL-1702.html
