Description Cap San Diego, Hamburg. Built in Hamburg and launched in 1961 this bulk carrier is now a museum ship. It operated between Germany and South America, completing 120 round trips until 1981. After being sold and operating as a tramp trader, it was scheduled for scrapping in 1986, when it was bought by the city of Hamburg.
