English: Cantley Sugarbeet factory at Night With sugarbeet now coming in from abroad the beet is processed throughout the day and night. This is around 9.15pm. The factory was the first built in the UK in 1912 and now processes on average 9000 tonnes of beet to make 1250 tonnes of sugar each day. |
