| Description |
English: Cantley Sugar Factory Viewed along the footpath by the River Yare. The reedbeds along the Yare are an excellent place to see Bearded Tit as they are long and thin so the birds can't hide in the middle. The river really is higher than the grazing marsh to the left, a typical, if odd, state in the Broads (and Fens). Pumping stations are needed to lift the water off the marshes and into the rivers. |
