Description

Another Beckett miracle window dating from after 1213. The windows have a diaper of foliage and berries on a blue background similar to Lincoln. Generally, there are two horizontal roundels per story. From the top, the window depicts: Pilgrims with water of St Thomas St Thomas visiting a sick man Healing of Petronilla, an epileptic nun (several modern panels) The dream of Louis VII King of France (Louis visited in 1179) Healing of Robert of Cricklade Cure of a woman - poss. Juliana Puintel Cure of a maniac - poss. Henry of Fordwich
