English: Canfield Casino, located at 1 East Congress Streets in Congress Park, Saratoga Springs, New York, consists of three buildings in the Renaissance Revival style: the main building (built in 1870), the east wing (1871), and the kitchen and dining wing (1902-1903). The original architect of what was called the Saratoga Clubhouse is unknown. Currently, the Historical Society of Saratoga Springs operates the Saratoga Springs History Museum on the second and third floors and an art gallery in the former reading room and office, and the parlor is used for concerts, lectures, seminars and private events. The ballroom is utilized for weddings, proms, political ralalies and community forums.
The Canfield Casino and Congress Park was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972 as the Casino-Congress Park-Circular Street Historic District, and then reduced in size and made a National Historic Landmark in 1987. This image shows the kitchen and dining wing.
