Description
English: Candidates are held upside down as they are awarded golden combat spurs at the conclusion of the Task Force Maverick Spur Ride, at Bagram Air Field, Parwan province, Afghanistan, Febv. 21, 2012. During the spur ride, 26 participants completed a road march and tested their proficiency in various tasks such as land navigation, evaluating a casualty, donning their chemical protective masks, and assembling M9, M4, and M249 weapons systems.
