| Description |
A temple/candi located in countryside of Trowulan, Mojokerto, East Java. Probably built in 13th-14th century (due to "menara" miniature was an architectural feat), and its usage is disputed between archaeologists. The "tikus" name came as when it found back during 1915, it was said the temple was filled by rats. Candi yang berlokasi di pedesaan Trowulan, Kab. Mojokerto, Jawa Timur. Diduga dibangun di abad 13-14 (miniatur menara adalah karakteristik arsitektur), dan pemanfaatannya belum diketahui secara pasti dan menjadi sumber perdebatan antar arkeolog. Nama Candi Tikus sendiri berasal karena konon bahwa saat candi ini ditemukan, sudah menjadi sarang tikus. |
