English: Canal ice at Shuckburgh Looking north through the bridge carrying the A425 Southam to Daventry road over the Grand Union Canal west of Lower Shuckburgh. The passage of several boats during the day has broken up the ice. The canal widens out considerably at this point and the location was always known to working boatmen as 'Shuckburgh Turn'. |
