| Description |
English: Canal bridge at Clay Mills near Burton-upon-Trent. The Burton By-pass was built by re-routing the A38 to the west of the canal in 1967. There are interchanges near Branston to the south of Burton, and here at Clay Mills, where the original A38 (now A5121) is now routed across the Trent and Mersey Canal onto the dual carriageway A38(T).
This is the "new" Bridge No 28. Geograph will welcome some images of the pre 1967 old A38 bridge here. |
