English: Canal basin Worsley 1974. As seen from the mine entrance looking towards the bridge carrying the A572 (Worsley Road). A recent picture taken in the opposite direction 1343995 shows the water crystal clear following the building of a filtration plant to remove the discoloration caused by iron ore within the mine system. |
