e the floral display was compre-hensive and excellent in point of qual-ity, it did not seem to be so large asin former years. Chrysanthemiims, theseasonable flower, of course, held theplace of honor by numbers, with rosesand carnations a good second, wnd thevarious other varieties in lesser pro-fusion. One of the most attractive features ofthis department every year is the dis-play of florally-decorated dinner tables. the floral display was the built-up parti-tions between the various sections of theexhibition, which were built up withpalms, ferns and potted plants to makea very effective screen. The rustic ideawas carried out to the full in the ex-hibition, even the cleverly-devised chan-deliers being inverted cedar trees filledwith incandescent lamps, and the stonerailings were cedar limbs fresh fromthe woods. Fine Showing of Apples. From a practical standpoint perhapsthe most valuable feature of the wholeexhibition is the display of apples forexport, packed in boxes and barrels. It
