Both buildingsare of most modern fire-proof construction,being built of reinforced concrete, includingthe roof on which is an asbestos roof cover-ing. Steel sash were used throughout. The foundry building is of monitor construc-tion and measures 160 x 60; the monitorventilators being operated by controls.The machine shop building included- inwhich is pattern shop, stock and shippingdepartments, measures 275 x 55.
