Description
English: Item is a photograph from an album of World War One-related photographs in the William Okell Holden Dodds fonds. Brigadier General Dodds joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force in 1914 and was commanding officer of the 5th Canadian Division Artillery and served in France from 1917-1918.
Français : Mons - 11 Novembre 1918 — Le Corps canadien entrant dans la Ville (5e lanciers britanniques attachés à la 3e division canadienne en tête).
Photographie issue d'un album de photographies relatif à la Première Guerre mondiale dans le fonds William Okell Holden Dodds (en).
Le général de brigadel Dodds s'est joint au Corps expéditionnaire canadien en 1914 et a été commandant de la 5e Division d'artillerie canadienne et a servi en France de 1917 à 1918 et en Belgique à la vue de ce cliché.
