Brigadier General Dodds joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force in 1914 and was commanding officer of the 5th Canadian Division Artillery and served in France from 1917-1918 Français : Denain (France - département du Nord) – Corps canadien - Service d'action de grâce et réception par la population de la Ville. Sortie de l'église Sainte-Renfroye (actuelle église Saint Martin semble t-il.) — 19 octobre 1918. De gauche à droite (from left to right) : le Lieutenant-Général sir A. Curie, commandant du corps d'armée ; le Prince Edouard de Galles (futur roi Edouard VIII) ; le Général de Brigade Ew-Morisson, commandant de l'artillerie canadienne ; le Commandant David Watson, commandant de la quatrième division canadienne. Photographie tirée d'un album de photos relatif à la Première Guerre mondiale et appartenant au fonds William Okell Holden Dodds. Le brigadier-général Dodds s'est joint au Corps expéditionnaire canadien en 1914 et a été commandant de la 5e Division d'artillerie du Canada et a servi en France de 1917 à 1918. |
