Français : Un alignement des 10 convertisseurs acides Manhès-David (type Allis-Chalmers) exploités par la Canadian Copper Company avnt 1911. La cornue métallique faisait 84 < 126 pouces. Si la matte de départ contenait 36% Ni+Cu, le revêtement acide durait 8 heures, ou 7 tonnes de matte convertie à 80% Ni+Cu ; chaque soufflage durant 1h 5 min. Si la matte de départ contenait 30% Ni+Cu, le revêtement acide durait 5,3 tonnes de matte convertie, chaque soufflage durant 1h 15 min.
English: A set of the 10 Manhès-David acid converters (Allis-Chalmers type) operated by the Canadian Copper Company before 1911. The shell was 84 x 126 inches. If the starting matte was 36% Ni+Cu, the acid lining lasted 8 hours, or 7 tons of 80% Ni+Cu converted matte ; each blow lasting 1h 5min. If the starting matte was 30% Ni+Cu, the acid lining lasted 5.3 tons of converted matte ; each blow lasting 1h 15min.
