| Description |
English: In June 1967 at Can Tho the 69th Engineer Battalion took over the completion of two aircraft hangars, a dial exchange building, a communications building and a motor maintenance building all of which had been started by RMK. Completion of these facilities is set for the end of October. The Battalion has also started construction of a 1200 man cantonment shown in the center portion of this photograph. The estimated completion date for the project is March 68. The battalion has a company size force here at this location augmented by approximately 90 former Vietnamese employees of the contractor. |
