Description
English: Image of two female, adult Campolina horses. Image shows two coats of five (Black, Silver, Bay, Chocolate, Golden). This breed is one of few that shows the shimmery "bloom", has a natural four beat gait as well as two forms of "march". Currently used extensively in South America for pleasure (trail) riding and is becoming introduced into Dressage. This breed is less suitable for jumping or extensive work with livestock.

This is a Brazilian breed where the convention is to shave the mane of the female horse but leave the males with an extensive mane.
