Description
English: LC Civil War maps (2nd ed.), H70 Relief shown by form lines. Shows encampments and troop movements of Confederate and Union forces at the battle of Rich Mountain. Similar to the map reproduced in the Atlas to accompany the official records of the Union and Confederate Armies, 1891-95, pl. 2, no. 6. Oriented with north to the right. Pen-and-ink and pencil on tracing paper mounted on paper. Accompanied by letter from War Records Office requesting information for the Atlas to accompany the official records of the Union and Confederate Armies. Available also through the Library of Congress web site as raster image. On sticker on verso lower right corner: 107.
