Description
Português: Fotos da Caminhada realizada em 27 de abril de 2019, na parte da manhã, no Horto Florestal de São Paulo (Parque Estadual Alberto Loefgren), na zona norte de SP.

Segundo os organizadores, o trajeto incluiu pontos importantes da história do Parque, como suas construções, atrativos e personagens, além de informações sobre a origem do Serviço Florestal (atual Instituto Florestal) e suas raízes na Comissão Geográfica e Geológica da Província de São Paulo, que além do IF, deu origem a outras instituições, como o Instituto Geológico. A área do Parque, também conhecido como Horto, era o antigo Engenho Pedra Branca, que foi desapropriado em 1896 para a instalação de um horto botânico. Na visita, conhecemo o Museu Florestal Octávio Vecchi.

A Caminhada no Horto Florestal é uma iniciativa dos Amigos do Museu Florestal e Movimento Conservatio.
