Description New Orleans: Row of 19th century "shotgun" style houses on Tchoupitoulas Street, Uptown. A sign on one shows it houses a beauty salon; the sign still displays the phone number with the "TWinbrook" letter exchange of the mid-20th century rather than the strictly numerical system in use since the 1960s.
