St. Edward the Confessor.—Chancel, with sidechapels, nave, aisles, embattled W. tower, six bells(the fifth ^ Sajicte Anna Ora • Pro Nobis ).N. and S. of chancel the aisles are continued;those portions were at one time appropriated toTrinity Hall and Clare College. Chancel archesfour-centred with Perp. piers. Five-light E.window. Good modern reredos. Chancel aislesare wider than those of nave.
