Description

While religious freedom is restored, at the opening of the new cemetery, Ass-white and Parpaillots have to enter into the cemetery by two different gates.

Vivid memory of the religious wars: for the Protestants, the Catholics had a White-Ass because they spent a lot of time sitting on church pews, and conversely the Catholics gave to Protestants the nickname Paparpaillots (Lulabees) because of the lantern they had to use to go at the worship places lost in the scrubland.
