AMERICAN BRANCHING ASTERS (Wilt Resistant) This famous strain of branching Asters is deservedly popular. The flowers are of good size, very double, of fine form and abun- dantly produced. 2291 Crimson. Intense deep crimson red. 2292 Flesh. Clear even light pink. 2293 Lavender. Exquisite bluish lavender. 2294 Purple. Perfect flower, dark violet blue. 2295 Rose Pink. Charming bright rose. 2296 White. Large well formed, pure color. 2300 American Branching. All colors mixed. Price: Any of the above 10c per packet GERMAIN'S WILT RESISTANT ASTERS The most serious disease that affects the Aster is Wilt. Aster Wilt has played havoc with many aster plantings and much time and money has been spent in combatting it. Recently we were able to obtain certain varieties which showed remarkable immunity from this disease. Careful investigation and tests on a very large scale proved conclu- sively that, even on land badly infested with aster wilt, these resistant sorts made a strong, healthy growth, bloomed profusely and produced a good crop of seed without showing a sign of wilt. AMERICAN BEAUTY ASTERS (Wilt Resistant) A renowned cut flower strain producing very large densely double flowers on long stems. The flowers are of the American branching type but much larger and sturdier and hold up remarkably well after cutting. 2246 Crimson. Rich vivid crimson red 2247 September Pink.
